Students will learn by looking at artwork by the artist, teacher demonstration, and independent work time. Students will check in with the teacher after the demonstration to ensure understanding. The teacher will check in with each students as they progress through the lesson. This lesson will cover Monoprints, collagraph prints, and stamping. The goal of this course is to expose students to different ways to print using materials that they have around the house. Additionally, students will walk away with a better understanding of the printmaking process and the terminology to use when printing.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their understanding of how to make prints, printmaking techniques, vocabulary, and skills to create their own prints in a variety of different styles.

Supply List
Week One- Monoprints- foil, paint, paper. Week Two-Stamps- modelings clay, paint. Week Three- cardboard, paper with texture, string, lace, etc.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hey! I am offering this class to expose students to artists while creating their own masterpiece. I believe I am the perfect fit as I am a certified art teacher who has spent many years fine tuning her craft on exposure to Art with a mix of different art mediums. Art is subjective and it allow students to find their own creative outlet while learning skills along the way!
