A 2-day workshop for learners interested in makeup that is appropriate for acting and modeling auditions.
Class experience
Wearing makeup can make any teen feel like an artist painting a canvas. While exploring colors and being creative can be fun, young actors and models who are auditioning aren't able to get as creative in their makeup choices. In this 2 day workshop, teens will learn how to do their makeup for auditions, and learn how not to have their makeup distract casting during the audition. Step-by-step walkthrough of how to apply makeup while guiding students through practicing a camera-ready makeup look for auditions.Week 2Lesson 2Starting strong: Do's, Don'ts, and Disappearing BlemishesIn this lesson we'll cover healthy skin tips, how to deal with breakouts (hiding acne with makeup), and audition makeup audition don'ts.
Ms. Dana has 1 year of experience providing audition make-up advice to young actors.
Students should not go out and buy new products for class. They are welcome to bring whatever they already have.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The teacher will only give feedback on products that students already own. It is understood that if a student brings a product to class, they are knowledgeable as to whether the product contains any allergens they should be aware of. While general advice is given, students with any skin sensitivity or skin conditions should contact their physician if concerned about allergens or the appropriateness of any product for their skin type.
