Parental Guidance
Please be warned that some images and projects may be unsettling to some. Any gore imagery used in class will be fake (makeup) only. I am always sure to warn students that these images are coming, just in case anyone wants the chance to look away! Be warned: if real blood makes your student queasy, fake blood might, too!
Please run a safety test before using any materials for the first time; as with any makeup product, be aware of possible allergy issues. Some latex techniques may also require the use of a sharp blade or cutting tool (I recommend nail scissors); please be sure your learner is monitored at all times in case of accident.
Supply List
All makeup challenges will be flexible in regards to material needs. Young artists are invited to participate and craft their own unique looks with whatever supplies they have on hand! Listed below are a few examples of materials commonly used for SFX: -Foundation cream -Highlight Cream -Shadow Cream -Color Creams (red, purple, yellow, black, green, blue) -Pigment Powders (eyeshadows, blush, glitters) -Liquid Latex -Fake Blood -Brushes -Sponge Applicators -Stipple Sponges -Scissors -Toilet paper -Makeup wipes -Makeup remover -Paper towel For further suggestions and recommendations, please don't hesitate to get in touch!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Over a decade ago my love of theatre collided with my love for teaching, and I had the pleasure of running a few stage makeup courses for middle and high school students. Now with years of experience practicing the art of stage makeup, I'm so excited to be able to offer these courses online!
