In this one time course, students will be able to communicate and play collaboratively and share their accomplishments playing Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield.

Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield are the latest video game series for the Nintendo Switch introducing a new generation of Pokémon! Along with a new adventure, the introduction of the Wild Area, Max Raid Battles, and with the newest release of the Crown Tundra expansion pass are DynaMax Adventures! To make the most out of these areas, students enrolled in this course will be able to interact as a group and coordinate their best Pokémon battle strategies to battle against various DynaMax Pokémon and Legendary Pokémon from past Pokémon games! Students enrolled in this course will work together on deciding what types of adventures they would all like to participate in ( Max Raid Battles or DynaMax Adventure). Students will be able to interact together using the Link Code provided in class in order to participate. Afterwards after each adventure, the students will be able to discuss their best strategies or choices made during the activity.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to develop their turn-taking communication skills, team building skills, and collaboration skills.

Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield use an online Wi-Fi connectivity feature in order to play with others online.
