Class Experience

Students will become able to make friends and use this time to be social in a time when social time is limited. Students will also be doing a character study for some of the Peppa Pig Characters without realizing they are doing it because they are having fun with their friends. We will learn to describe our favorite characters and our least favorite characters. We will compare characters and discuss why we like them, do not like them, and what we would do differently about the story itself.
Does knowing literally every episode, quote, and song by heart count? How about having a Peppa Palooza of toys piled almost ceiling high in one room along with bedding and decor? No? I am a former brick and mortar teacher who values social time and getting to know students on their level to encourage self autonomy and emotional intelligence. This is the greatest way to build rapport while letting students find their connections through common interest and I look forward to connecting more students from all over the world in this way!
No homework! Yay!
Bring your own Peppa themed items to class for our discussions. Wear comfy clothes that are appropriate for on screen appearances or what you would wear to be comfy at school. Pajamas are welcomed that cover us appropriately (bathing suit and chest areas must be covered).
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No need to assess formally. Students will get to discuss setting and characters in an informal style so their focus can be more on learning, having fun and making new friends.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parental guidance is not required, but always welcomed!
