1) Learners will create one acrylic painting on watercolor paper, canvas or canvas paper. 2) Learners will utilize one or more painting techniques such as: underpainting with shapes, color mixing, blending, texture. 3) Learners will utilize one or more art vocabulary words such as: line, shape, color.

1) Acrylic Paint, (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, white) 2) Brushes (one large flat brush, one-two small flat brushes, one small round brush) 3) Small canvas (8 x 10 or 9 x 12 approx.) OR Watercolor paper 4) water cup 5) Palette (can use paper plate) 6) Paper towels
