In this 30 minute class, we will learn about watercolor painting, and then begin to design our own hand painting.
Class experience
In this class, students will learn/review about primary, secondary, and even tertiary colors, as well as discuss some basic painting elements to try in our painting. Students will learn the wet on dry technique, as well as the wet on wet technique. We will then trace our own hands/arms and make our own painting. Students will learn basic watercolor skills. Students will learn to take something basic and make it fun and unique. Students will learn some different techniques to try in their watercolor painting.
Homework Offered
Students can choose to paint a new picture by mixing different colors or trying other design elements discussed in class.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students can choose to share their painting by posting their painting in the classroom. Students can also choose to share their progress at the end of class, even if it is not quite done. I love seeing progress from painters!Grades Offered
