Let’s create a Giraffe Masterpiece together! In this one-time class we will draw and paint a mama and baby calf Giraffe in a beautiful safari landscape.  

We will learn about different artistic skills and techniques, as well as educational facts about giraffes, whilst we paint. Our mission is to learn, create, and have fun whilst we use our imagination! We will learn about where Giraffes live, what they like to eat, what they do all day, and much more! 

This is an interactive class, perfect for learners who love art, animals and nature. It is also ideal for building practical art and drawing skills, as well as artistic confidence. It is also a class to help learners fine-tune their observational skills. It is also great for listening, communication and comprehension skills. 

I will be giving simplified step by step instructions for the giraffe drawing. I use a teaching technique called directed drawing. I simplify the drawings down into simple lines and shapes and show how to draw each step of the way. Students will also be encouraged to be creative and add their unique touch and style to paintings! There will also be a coloring page for learners who prefer to color in, rather than draw.
