Take notes and save the info for when your dream finally comes true and you get to own your own horse! Session 1: Introductions, discussing disciplines and paths you can take with a horse, sizes, colors, breeds, and temperaments. Research and think about, before the next class, what you would want in a horse and why. Session 2: Review Session 1, Discuss what we found in our research and contemplation. Continue discussion on Horse prices, where to look for horses, what to consider when looking and how to read ad's properly. Homework is finding some horse ads and writing down "what's written in between the lines." Session 3: Review Session 2, and discuss what we found in our horse ad search. We will then discuss costs associated with owning and horse and what you need to get started and continue. We will discuss based on the groups "plans" with their horses.
