Operations With Fractions (Multi-Day)

In this 4-week, 8 lesson course, learners will practice a variety of operations with fractions including simplifying, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions and mixed numbers. Learners should already have a fundamental knowledge of what fractions are prior to entering this class. The first lesson is designed as a quick review on fraction basics that will carry them through the rest of the course. This class will benefit learners who are starting to practice various operations with fractions, learners who may struggle with the steps for solving different types of math problems with fractions, or for learners who need a review in these types of skills previously learned in their school coursework.

This course is designed to provide learners with a thorough knowledge-base of fractions by breaking down the steps for each type of mathematical operation we can do with fractions. Learners will also be encouraged to participate in solving a variety of math problems with each type of operation throughout each class.
