Each week we will cover a new topic/location related to travel, history, geography or language. Students will learn about the cultures and cuisine from all over the world!
Class experience
US Grade 8 - 11
This course is perfect for homeschool families looking to supplement their social studies, history, language, or social classes. I have personally been to over 30 countries, many of them during solo-travels, and each week I will share a favourite spot with students. They are also encouraged to bring stories of their travels (local or afar!) to share with fellow students. Homework Offered
Occasionally students will be asked to read outside of class, or look up topics for subsequent class discussion - these will be light (optional) assignments to better enrich their experience and only take 30 minutes - 1 hour per week.Assessments Offered

We will discuss situational awareness whilst traveling for the purposes of avoiding petty crime, pick-pocketing, human trafficking, and accidents.
Primarily we will use pictures and stories collected from my travels, as well as maps, books, and articles from well respected printed and online publications such as: - Encyclopedia Brittanica - National Geographic & National Geographic Kids - Jane Goodall's Roots and Shoots - Google Earth - Touchable Earth - Lonely Planet Kid's - Book of Countries of the World - DK: Our World in Pictures
