One-Time Needs Based 1:1 Math Tutoring and Homework Help

If you are interested in tutoring or just need homework help join me in this one time class. This class will be a chance to assess student needs for tutoring or just help with a specific homework assignment. It can also be a time to meet the teacher and discuss the direction you see tutoring going. If you decide to continue tutoring we will work together to find a schedule that works for us all. Please note there is a price increase for the ongoing tutoring. 

Do you need help in math or do you want to advance your math skills? This is a 1:1 tutoring or homework help class on the math skills your child needs to know. The class will last 30 minutes and include independent practice and teacher instruction. This class will run on the specific skill your child needs to practice using an I do, we do, you do teaching method.  If you need help on multi-digit multiplication then that is what the class will teach. If you need help with division or fractions then that is what we will work on. If you just need help understanding your math homework then we can work on that.  This class will be centered around YOUR needs, I have been an elementary school teacher in 3,4 and 5th grade for 21 years mostly focused on math instruction. I worked with teachers for 5 years coaching on best practices with math. In this class I with help your student  on the skill they need. Whether it be common core strategies or standard math strategies.  As the parent when you register you will need to leave a comment about the skill your learner needs help with so that I can prepare for our lesson.
