In this class, students will increase their number sense through mental math. Students will share their strategies for solving simple to complex addition and subtraction problems. There are many different ways to solve a math equation, so many examples may be given for a single equation. I was trained in number talks as a classroom teacher. I have implemented it and seen growth in my students! In the beginning, many students were shy or unable to complete what was asked. Through watching their peers and learning through them, their confidence and abilities blossomed. I expect the same in the online platform.

Hi! I'm so glad you're here! I have over 10 years of experience teaching! I have taught preschoolers, elementary school, middle school, adults, and online. I believe learning should be fun and that every child has a passion to feed - even if they don't know what it is yet!
