Students should know their multiplication and division. During this one time course, students will learn to multiply and divide proper fractions and improper/mixed fractions. In addition, students will learn to convert mixed fractions to improper fractions. We will use the "I do, we do, you do" method. Students will be given step by step instructions on how to solve a problem. We will go over a problem together. Then, students will demonstrate their understanding of multiplying and dividing fractions by solving a problem on their own.

I will be teaching Cantonese. I have mastered the language of Cantonese by learning from my parents who are native speakers. I have taken a Cantonese language course and a reading and writing course in high school and in college. I believe my prospective students can benefit learning a foreign language. Foreign languages allows my students to learn about their culture, able to use their skills to help others (i.e. being a translator) and travel.
In addition to teaching Cantonese, I will be teaching basic math. I have been a tutor for two years, one year with Elementary School students teaching all subjects and one year with High School students teaching Math and Chemistry. I was also a nanny for five years ages range one-year-old to ten-year-old. During these five years, I was also a tutor to those who were five and up. I tutored Math, English, and Reading. In addition, I tutored a sixth grader in math where ratios, fractions, exponents and long division was introduced. I have also taken college math courses which includes Pre-Calculus, Calculus and Statistics.
During my time as a nanny, I loved doing arts and craft with elementary school students. This would include coloring, baking and reading. In addition, we would knit and do rainbow looms. We would make blankets with crochet hooks and needles. We would make hats with round looms and socks with rectangular rooms. We would also make bracelets with rainbow looms and friendship bracelets with embroidery floss.
Finally, my last subject of teaching is cooking and baking. As a young girl, I have always been in the kitchen cooking and baking anything and everything, especially baked goods. While nannying, I would always be in the kitchen with children just baking cookies, muffins and brownies.
During my free time, I love to craft such as knitting, swimming and soap making.
