Beginner - Intermediate Level
Students will learn how to multiply two and three digit numbers by one digit numbers and how to multiply two digit numbers by two digit numbers. This is a 3 week self-paced course., 2 lessons per week. Each lesson will be 30 minutes long with work that will be expected to be completed at the end of the lesson. Independent work will take 20-30 minutes. Students should turn in independent work and request assistance if needed.
Learning Goals
Using area models, students will multiply two and three digit numbers by a one digit number.
Using partial products, students will multiply two and three digit numbers by a one digit number.

Other Details
Pre-Requisites
Studnets should have a solid foundation of basic multiplication facts 1-10.
Studnet will also need a solid foundation on place value up to ten thousand.
Supply List
Learners will need a marker board and marker OR paper and pencil. They will also need homework to be printed out. If you are unable to print the homework. Students can solve it on a sheet of paper and submit it that way.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
