Month 2
Week of 7/31: Steady Beat Exploration
Week of 8/7: Quarter Note & Pair of Eighth Notes
Week of 8/14: Half Note & Whole Note
Week of 8/21: Quarter Rest & Half Rest

*Each week I will review the material learned in the previous week so that no one is left behind in rhythm knowledge and practice time!

Parents/Guardians: Please note that all mics will be muted during group singing time. Learners may be unmuted to answer questions or present ideas. If the learner is not sure how to unmute/mute their microphone, it may be helpful for them to have someone nearby who can help them with this! 

--WEEKLY CLASS ROUTINE--
-Attendance, Welcome, & Hello Songs
-Warm Up: The warm up activity will introduce or review previously learned material in a fun way to get our brains and body moving.
-Presentation of Material: The new topic will be introduced using a variety of songs, games, and activities.
-Singing Game: We will play an interactive singing game in which all students will be given a turn/some level of interaction with each other and the teacher. 
-Practice Activity: We will use songs, games, echoing, group work, etc. to practice the new concept, or concepts we have previously learned. All students will be caught up to speed, regardless of when they join the class.
-Song Story: The teacher will sing the learners a song story, then ask questions or share their opinion about the story.
-Goodbye activity/song: We will all participate in an activity/goodbye song to leave spirits uplifted and excited for the next week of music!
