Miss Autumn's Confident Speakers Social Club

In this ongoing club, learners will have the opportunity to explore a new topic each week. We will talk about speaking confidently, slowly, and clearly while we learn new vocabulary and play games.

Class Experience

Learners will learn how to speak slowly and enunciate clearly.
Learners will learn new vocabulary each week.
Learners will learn how to fluently express ideas using proper language.
Learners will have fun playing games!
I have been a speech-language pathologist for over 20 years and I love helping kids communicate clearly. I have also been involved in 4-H for over 30 years, first as a member and now as an advisor. I have learned many public speaking skills that I look forward to sharing in this class.
There will be follow up activities given each week including a tongue twister to practice and vocabulary words to discuss with family.
Outside materials are normally not necessary for this class. On the rare occasion that they will be needed, learners will be notified a week in advance and reminders will be sent. Follow up activities will be sent through the classroom after each class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Does the learner speak more confidently?
Does the learner speak slowly and clearly?
Does the learner use new vocabulary related to the weekly theme?
Does the learner enjoy the games?
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
No parental guidance is necessary for this class - our topics will be age appropriate and I will avoid controversial issues.
None - all materials will be created by the teacher.
