Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi! I am a homeschooling mom of 3 children with a passion for and love of teaching. I have a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in English. I have experience teaching literature, writing, and Spanish courses at the middle and high school level. I also have experience teaching online courses at the college level. Overall, I have over 16 years of teaching experience. I love teaching literature, formal writing and creative writing classes. With the influx of technology, proper writing skills and format are being lost. It is important for people in all professions and areas of life to be able to write and communicate effectively in the written format. This is what I love to share with my students. Writing doesn't have to be boring and dry. Writing can be fun and interesting and best of all, creative!
I love reading classics and fantasy novels of all kinds. I have been known to profess my book nerd status to anyone who will listen, much to the occasional embarrassment of my children!
I also have a Facebook page dedicated to my Outschool classes. I would love for you to head over there and give it a like! I decided to make a Facebook page for my Outschool teaching. I will share classes that are upcoming and also announce new classes in the works. You can also reach out to me and make requests for times/classes. I have offerings for 4 yo-teen. I would love for you to give it a like!
