Mathdoku Puzzles for Beginners

During this one time class, students will be introduced to mathdoku puzzles (also called Ken Ken puzzles).  Students will learn the rules of sudoku puzzles and use their basic math problem solving skills to solve the mathdoku puzzles.  If your child has experience solving mathdoku or Ken Ken puzzles, this class may be too easy for them. The students and I will work together to solve a few progressively more difficult puzzles. By learning the basics of these puzzles, students can then advance to more complex mathdoku puzzles.  This is a fun, life-long hobby. 

I have a relaxed, fun teaching style.  We will work as a group but participants can observe if they are not comfortable participating in the discussion.
