Math Tutoring

Sometimes math can be difficult to learn in the general classroom setting.  In this 1 on 1 tutoring session, your child will gain an understanding of math personalized to their level.  Whether they need some extra practice on grade level skills, remediation to bring them up to grade level or some extension of the current skills being taught, this tutoring session will cater to your child's individual needs.  

Since the skills covered are tailored to your child's needs, we will work on the skills you and I discuss. These topics can include:  multiplication/division, word problems, algebra and geometry.

We will work together in a variety of ways.  My main style of teaching is I do, we do and you do.  I will demonstrate to the student how to complete the problem, we will work on some together and then I will observe them complete some to check for understanding.
