In this one-time, thirty minute, fun and interactive class and through the use of Google Sheets, students will solve two digit and three digit addition and subtraction problems to decode the messages that the Math Ninja has sent. Students must already know how to add and subtract well. Students will have a set time to answer each question and will individually type their responses privately to the teacher via the chat function. Students will then take turns answering the messages which would be questions directed at the students to improve their social skills and boost their conversation skills.
Learning Goals
Students will test their addition and subtraction skills by solving timed addition and subtraction problems to decode the messages that the Math Ninja has sent. They will also improve their social skills and boost their conversation skills by answering the questions/decided messages.
