Class Experience

In this friendly and interactive class, students will learn how to multiply any 2-digit by 1-digit number in their head. If students are able to multiply up to the 9 times table then they are capable of multiplying these larger numbers. They will connect the knowledge that they already have and apply it to improving their mental calculation skills. 

Students will gain a simple conceptual understanding of multiplication strategies.  These are true mental math strategies - not “tricks” that...
