In this class, we will cover fractions and how to use them for adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. We will also cover mixed numbers and the basics of percents. Students will learn to use fractions and mixed numbers for adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. We will cover basic percents and talk about how they are related to fractions and decimals, but will not being doing a "deep dive" into percent equations in this class.
Homework Offered
Following each class, homework will be posted so students can try the lesson content on their own. A video going over the homework will be posted after the next class. (Homework is optional but encouraged.)1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
An optional test will be posted at the end of each week. Parents desiring a percentage grade for their student can have their students complete the tests and turn them in. This is optional.Grades Offered
