Description
Class Experience
Students will learn to use fractions and mixed numbers for adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. We will cover basic percents and talk about how they are related to fractions and decimals, but will not being doing a "deep dive" into percent equations in this class.
Following each class, homework will be posted so students can try the lesson content on their own. A video going over the homework will be posted after the next class. (Homework is optional but encouraged.)
Class slides, lecture notes, etc. will be posted in the classroom following class.
An optional test will be posted at the end of each week. Parents desiring a percentage grade for their student can have their students complete the tests and turn them in. This is optional.
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
