We will begin our class with a show-and-tell of our makeup supplies. Each learner will get a turn to talk to us about their supplies and what their favorite one is (this is optional) for the first 5 minutes of class. Teacher Maria will show what our inspiration for the week is with a quick slide presentation (5 minutes). We will then proceed to do our makeup together (20 minutes). Teacher Maria will model and show the learners how to create a makeup look with our inspiration but learners can use their imagination to create a unique look. For the last 10 minutes of class we will get to chat, make friends and see what our classmates created. No previous makeup experience is needed. An option to draw on paper with a face figure provided will also be available. Parental Guidance
Parents please use child safe makeup to prevent irritations. Please read the ingredients list prior to class and be sure to check for potential allergens (you can also patch test). Parents can sit with the learner during class to make sure the products are used safely and to prevent any discomfort.
Supply List
-Any makeup supplies that you own and want to use in class. -Face painting crayons are a good resource for this class but not essential -A mirror -wipes or a face towel (If you do not want to put makeup on your face there will be a printout of a face you can draw on with any coloring supplies)
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
