Class experience
In this class we will learn about three different cliff top castles or monasteries that exist in Europe. We will learn about the history of each place. We will play a game every class and students will have an assignment that they can do after the lesson is complete to help them connect with the class topic. Students will participate in discussion. Students will learn about history through virtual travel and exploration.
I have traveled to Europe on three different occasions, staying for three months on my longest trip. European history fascinates me and every time I travel I write about it extensively on my blog. I base my travel classes on places that I have visited myself. My goal is to spread my love of history and travel on to the next generation!
Week 1 homework supplies: cardboard, paper printouts (https://www.timvandevall.com/activities/cardboard-castle/), scissors, tape Week 2 homework supplies: dice, game printout, pencil
We will be talking about European history which at times can include topics of war and weaponry (mostly sword use.) These topics will be included at an age appropriate level. If you have any questions about any of these topics please send me a message.
