Your student and I will have an engaging conversation about a "news style" non-fiction article. We'll discuss main ideas, vocabulary, & answer comprehension questions. Topics: science, technology, environment, animals, sport, foods, & more!

Homework Offered
An optional homework worksheet will be provided for each article. The worksheets typically consist of 4-5 comprehension questions related to the non-fiction text. The questions vary for each article, and may include multiple-choice questions, vocabulary definitions, and article summaries. This optional homework provides an opportunity for your child to further engage with the content, practice new skills, and deepen their understanding.

- The Daily Reader will be supplied up to 1 day before class. I live in the UK, and so if you enrol in a "same day" class, the Daily Reader will be emailed when UK morning begins.
- You may print the Daily Reader if you wish, however this is not required as the article will be displayed on the screen as a PowerPoint in our Outschool classroom.
