-- This is the Semester Course Format which meets for 10 weeks, 1 day per week -- ++ Please note: this is a continuation of my "Intro to Dutch" Level 1 and 2 classes (20 lessons in total). Students who have completed all 20 lessons are welcome to sign up for level 3 ++ In Level 3, we will use what we learned in Levels 1 and 2 and expand on it. There will also be some new topics. New in Level 3 is the use of the dialogues! If there are 4 students or more in a section, we will be able to use the breakout rooms to practice the dialogues in pairs. If the class has 3 students, the dialogues will get practiced in the main virtual classroom. The students will get the dialogue ahead of time as well as a recording so they can prepare for it on their own. During class I will make time to go over any new words both the pronunciation and the meaning. I will be able to pop into every breakout room to check on the students. Lesson 1: This is me & my birthday Lesson 2: Phone conversation Lesson 3: Family II Lesson 4: Friends Lesson 5: Hobby's & professions Lesson 6: School I Lesson 7: School II Lesson 8: My house Lesson 9: My room Lesson 10: The neighborhood A Google Slide presentation will be used during this class. The students are asked to verbally participate in order for the teacher to give feedback and corrections. Class sizes are kept small in order to ensure that every student is able to participate.
