¡Bienvenidos a la clase de español! Welcome to Spanish class! In this beginner conversational Spanish I welcome all students including those being introduced to Spanish and those who have had a few classes. I provide all the vocabulary and sentence starters to successfully role play and participate in fun games. Students have several opportunities to speak and the repetition helps seal the vocabulary. I am gentle, kind, and encouraging. I rephrase students' responses in Spanish instead...
Students will increase their Spanish vocabulary. Students will practice their Spanish speaking skills. Students will improve their pronunciation, sentence length and fluency.
I am a certified Spanish teacher with several years of in person and online experience.
Homework Offered
I will provide handouts of material that was covered in class such as vocabulary and basic sentence structure. I also include digital flashcards you can print, listen to, and play games. Role plays and games should be repeated throughout the week.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Informal assessment during class. I will message parents when students seem ready to move to intermediate. I'm open to any student trying intermediate if interested.Grades Offered
