Welcome to the advanced Spanish speaking class! During this class you will practice the skills you already learned while we incorporate new knowledge in a useful way.
Class experience
In this class I want to focus on speaking with you! We will focus on elements of Spanish that are often difficult for native English speakers, such as the difference between 'ser' and 'estar', conjugating irregular and regular verbs in the present tense, reflexive verbs, verbs like 'gustar', possessive pronouns, adverbs, adjectives, future, and much more. My goal is to make you use these complex language structures and vocabulary comfortably as you speak. We'll do so by speaking, reading,...
This class will provide you with the required knowledge to be able to effectively communicate in Spanish. We will target important topics, such as ordering in restaurants, going shopping, opening a bank account, etc.
I am a Spanish native speaker, but I have also had to master another language. So, I understand how difficult it is to improve your language skills past certain levels. Through my years teaching Spanish and learning other languages, I have developed several useful tools to help you improve quickly.
Homework Offered
Homework will be assigned after every class. The homework is optional but I highly recommend doing it to improve and set up good bases. I will provided feedback in every submitted assignment.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

The class will use a shared word document that I create and send to the students. I use this word document to share the readings, questions, and exercises with which we will work. This saves time by permitting us to engage and share notes in real time, as well as enabling the students to keep the materials at the end of the class (as a pdf file that I attach to the Outschool classroom at the end of every class).
