Let's Read for Second Grade: A Second Grade Phonics and Reading Class

This class is designed to prepare new second-graders for second-grade reading. It can also be a great review class for past second-graders who need some extra practice, all while having fun!  In this class, we will read introductory second-grade-level books.  In these books, we will practice sight words, practice grade-level appropriate phonics skills, and practice fluent and accurate reading of text.  After reading each daily book, we will practice our phonics skills through a fun game.

By the end of each camp, learners will have reviewed/learned several sight words, practiced and used phonics skills in reading, been introduced to second-grade level reading books, and enjoyed a fun few weeks of reading camp with others!
