✨General✨ Learners of a first grade reading level will work on building common first grade reading skills to improve their reading levels and gain confidence in independent reading. This reading class follows a guided reading model. Learners will work on sight words, focus on essential phonics skills, practice using these skills to read an unfamiliar text, work on fluency with familiar texts, and also incorporate these skills in weekly sentence writing.
