In this ongoing course, learners will develop their maths skills. This course is part of a six year primary maths course that takes a problem-solving approach to teaching young learners the skills they need to become confident mathematicians. This course contains a greater focus on the use of manipulatives in the classroom, pictorial and abstract representations to promote deeper learning, language support to help EAL students develop fluency in mathematical language. Week of 21/04/25 - Subtracting fractions Week of 28/04/25 - Adding and subtracting fractions Week of 05/05/25 - Fractions of lengths Week of 12/05/25 - Fractions of sets Week of 19/05/25 - Recognising and writing tenths Week of 26/05/25 - Recognising and writing hundredths Week of 02/06/25 - Tenths and hundredths as decimals Week of 09/06/25 - Comparing and ordering decimals Week of 16/06/25 - Rounding decimals Week of 23/06/25 - Writing fractions as decimals Week of 30/06/25 - Dividing by 10 Week of 07/07/25 - Dividing by 100 Week of 14/07/25 - Counting in hundredths Week of 21/07/25 - Mixed numbers Week of 28/07/25 - Equivalent fractions Week of 04/08/25 - Simplifying mixed numbers Week of 11/08/25 - Adding fractions Please do message us if you require further information.
