Let's Learn and Make a Contraction Caterpillar
In the this one time class, the learner will be introduced to what contraction words are and will practice how to write them. The learner will then make a contraction caterpillar and practice making contractions.

2 files available upon enrollmentChoose one of two print outs. scissors (will be needed to cut circles and legs out prior to class with parental help) glue or glue sticks markers dry erase board and marker or paper and pencil construction paper if available but not necessary--can be used as a background for the caterpillar
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
