Description
Class Experience
Bats are amazing animals, and in this class student will be learning all about bats. 🦇 1. Introductions: I will introduce myself and ask students to tell me their age and what country/state they live in (if they feel comfortable sharing.) 2. We will go over online classroom expectations. - We listen to who is speaking. - We raise our hand if we have a question or want to share something with the class. 3. Pre-read Question: What is one fact you already know about bats that you'd like to...
Students will learn some fun, interesting facts about bats. We will learn about the two main types of bats, the biggest and smallest bat, what bats eat, how bats hunt/see at night, why bats sleep upside down during the day, and how they help us. We will also draw a bat and practice our art skills towards the end of class.
If students do not get finished drawing or coloring their picture during class, they may finish coloring/drawing after class.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
A picture of a bat "sucking" the blood from a pig is shown during class. It is not graphic at all.
