In this 45 minute lesson, students will use the whiteboard to draw circles and find the circumference and area. We will talk about real life uses of circumference and area in circles. Students will learn the following vocabulary words: pi (3.14), diameter, chord, radius, circumference, area. We will have fun learning about circles and how to measure them. This class will be fun and engaging. The students will be able to ask questions and show an understanding of circumference. The teacher will guide the students throughout the lesson.

Students are welcome to use the whiteboard in Zoom or paper and pencil. A calculator, phone or ipad calculator might be helpful for multiplying bigger numbers.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
