Calling all artists and learners who love to draw! In this ongoing class, we will learn to draw something new each week. This is a beginner level drawing class. The drawing we will do each week is very BASIC. The drawings will mainly use lines, circles and basic shapes. The teacher will model step by step how to draw an object for students. This might be an animal or object. I have already drawn the picture and I will model how to draw the picture for the students as they follow along. Students do not need any previous drawing experience but need to be able to follow the teacher's drawing directions. This class is perfect for students who love to draw and be creative! In this class: 1. We will introduce ourselves. 2. We will draw a picture together. I will model step by step for the students how to draw the picture. 3. Students will color their picture if time allows. 4. Students will have a chance to share their picture with the class. Class Schedule: Week of September 12 This is an ongoing class and students can subscribe and unsubscribe at any time! I can’t wait to draw together soon!

My name is Nicole Abercrombie and I am so excited to meet your student! I am a former 2nd grade teacher and elementary school counselor with seven years of teaching experience! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the College of Charleston and a Master's Degree in Education in School Counseling from Clemson University. I am certified to teach elementary education and school counseling in the state of South Carolina. After teaching second grade and being a school counselor, for many years, I decided to stay home with my baby girl and teach online! I have been teaching ESL online for a year and a half and love the virtual classroom!
My lessons are engaging, student focused and standards based. I have received training in both small group reading and math instruction. I am very passionate about teaching students the foundations of reading and math in a FUN way! My classes are full of student participation, games and educational content. Students will be having so much fun they won't even realize how much they are learning!
