Description

Class Experience

During this class the student will learn about Leonardo Da Vinci's life, the Renaissance period, and his inventions and discovery in science and nature.  The class will have a  discussion forum and at the end of the course the students will get the opportunity to do a project related to Leonardo's science work and inventions. I will be available for questions. 
I will also provide a handout that contains more details on the Discussion Forum questions that need to be answered and the options...

This class is taught in English.

Students will improve their understanding of Leonardo da Vinci's scientific aspect as well as some general knowledge on the Renaissance period. They will get the chance to interact with other classmates and complete a creative project.

There will be discussion forums in which the students will be required to participate and interact with each other.
For the final project they will need a pen, colors, paper, and things they can find around the house (it will depend on their creativity but some may include popsicle sticks, rulers, origami paper, thread). They can complete the project on their own and they are expected to share it with the class after finishing. 
No additional reading is required.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Progress will be assessed in a binary scale. Students completing all the course objectives will receive a Satisfactory and students who fail to complete the course objectives will receive an Unsatisfactory rating.

45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
