In this an ongoing class where learners will explore topics within Earth Science. Each class will have an engagement, guided lesson, and craft.
Class Experience
US Grade 1 - 3
Beginner Level
Join me as we discover the wonderful world of science! This class will meet once a week where we will spend 45 minutes exploring topics such as Earth Science, Physics, Marine Life, Biology and many more. Each lesson is designed to be taught to the younger learner. This hands-on class will include an engagement time where learners will get to share and interact with others. Guided lessons with pictures and PowerPoints. Embedded movement time and student driven questions to ensure all types...
- Students will gain a better understanding of specific Science topics and how they relate to their everyday lives.
I have been in education for over 20 years. I have a degree in Education and I hold an Elementary Education Certification.
Assessment
Frequency: Available upon requestDetails: This class will include formative assessments throughout the lesson. This will give the learner a way to communicate their understanding of concepts. At the conclusion of each class students will get the share new facts or ideas they learned that address our class’s daily objective. If you prefer a more formal assessment for your student that can be arranged with the teacher.
All classes will need crayons, scissors, tape or glue. After enrollment a supply list specific to that week will be sent along with PDFs to print.
Most crafts will include using scissors.
