What's included
1 live meeting
50 mins in-class hours per weekHomework
1-2 hours per week. It is expected that learners will watch episodes of LEGO Masters before class. LEGO Masters is available on Hulu and on Fox (https://www.fox.com/lego-masters/).Class Experience
The hunt is on for the next LEGO Masters team. Who are you rooting for and why? In this on-going class, we will dive deep into an engineering analysis of a recent episode of LEGO Masters (USA Season 4). We'll explore questions like: - Which teams had the best ideas? - How did each team work together? - What happened as the teams were building? - What feedback did the Brickmasters give each team? - How did each team overcome setbacks? This class is best suited to learners inclined to watch each episode of LEGO Masters with notepad in hand, taking notes on what they observed. We'll be actively discussing in a small group. If discussion slows, we might build something with our own bricks being inspired by that week's episode. We will be discussing Season 4 of LEGO Masters, giving students a week to watch the episodes. Our schedule is as follows: Classes meeting the week of October 1: Episode 1 discussion Classes meeting the week of October 8: Episode 2 discussion Classes meeting the week of October 15: Episode 3 discussion Classes meeting the week of October 22: Episode 4 discussion
