Beginner Level
This class will focus on basic vocabulary and language structure for simple sentences to develop conversational skills. Kids will be encouraged throughout the sessions to use those words and converse in Gujarati as much as possible. In 10 weeks class, we will learn, Week 1 - Greetings we will learn expressions to use at different times of the day, and for casual and formal occasions along with greetings for "Hello", "How are you? (elder, younger)", "I am fine", etc. Week 2 - Numbers (1-10) Students will be learning numbers They will also learn the Gujarati word for "How many" and use it in sentence. Week 3 - Fruits, Vegetables and likes Students will learn how to say different fruits and vegetables in Gujarati along with singular and plural. Then they will learn how to say "I like <food item>", "you like <food item>".. Week 4 - Animals and likes Students will learn how to say different animals in Gujarati along with singular and plural. Then they will learn how to say "I like <other than food>, you like <other than food> ".. Week 5 - Third person likes & dislikes Students will learn how to say likes and dislikes for third person like "Girl likes strawberry", "Boy likes legos" Week 6 - Review Kahoot Quiz for week 1 to 5. Week 7 - Feelings & Wants. Students will learn how to say, "I feel hungry / thirsty / cold / hot / tired", "you feel hungry / thirsty / cold / hot / tired", "he/she feels hungry / thirsty / cold / hot / tired". Week 8 - Verbs Students will learn how to say, "I want to play / to eat / to drink / to read / to do / to go", "you want to play / to eat / to drink / to read / to do / to go". Week 9 - Feelings and Verbs Students will learn how to say, "I feel hungry, I want to eat apple", "I feel thirsty, I want to drink water" sentences. Week 10 - Passage reading and understanding with Question & Answers. Students will first read and understand the passage; then do question-answers related to passage. Please Note:- In this class I am not teaching Gujarati Alphabets - this class is more geared towards conversational Gujarati. I do use english words to make students comfortable. Also Important: Class duration depends on number of students.

Students will practice the vocabulary they know, learn new words and how to use them in conversation. The goal is to make students comfortable with Gujarati.

Students will learn expressions for casual and formal occasions, like "Hello", "How are you? (elder, younger)", "I am fine", "What is your name", and "My name is <>" Students will also learn common vocabulary like a boy, girl, naughty, brave, etc.

Students will learn numbers from 1 to 10 and first grammar rule for singular and plural.
