In this ongoing class, intermediate-level Gujarati students with prior exposure to the language (e.g., those who have already taken my beginner and level 2-3 classes or know Gujarati and want to build more vocabulary) will review the fundamentals of Gujarati grammar and sentence construction, as well as vocabulary and pronunciation. This comprehensive review will help ensure that they don't lose their knowledge of the language as they start the past tense. We'll spend our class time translating sentences, reading passages/stories in Gujarati written in English script (and practicing pronunciation), answering reading comprehension questions, writing sentences and paragraphs, and playing fun group games and activities. Teacher expertise and credentials
Associate's Degree in Engineering (General) from THE INSTITUTION OF ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERS (IETE)
With a degree in Computer Engineering, I have been teaching Math and Computer Science for more than 15 years. I have also coached First Lego League team of 10 students and helped the team reach regional championships.
I believe in project based learning as it requires a thorough understanding of concept, and not just recall or recognition. It can be used to apply an academic content in new contexts. And, it starts with an inquiry, which leads to a deeper learning of not only an academic content but also use of it in a real world applications.
