Learning a new language can be fun! We will learn our colors and numbers 1 through 10 in American Sign Language.
Class experience
We will begin class with hellos and get to know you questions so that each learner feels comfortable. We will then learn the different colors and their signs. I will demonstrate how to sign one color at a time. Each learner will have ample time to learn and practice the signs. We will learn and practice the colors red, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, orange, black, and white. Next, we will learn how to sign numbers in American Sign Language. Each learner will be able to practice counting...
I took several classes on American sign language. I also had two friends who happened to be deaf growing up. I would communicate with them fluently and I would help them in learning settings to communicate with others.
