Class Experience

We will begin class with hellos and getting to know you questions to make each learner feel comfortable. We will then go through the American Sign Language alphabet and learn each letter. Each learner will have ample time to learn and practice the letters and ask questions as needed.

We will then practice spelling our names. Each learner will practice spelling their names (first name and last depending on how much time we have). We will also learn how to sign "My name is..."

As we learn and practice these signs, we will discuss why it is important to learn sign language. We will then say our goodbyes and see you next time.

I have taken many classes for American Sign Language. I had two friends who were deaf as children and was able to communicate with them easily.
