We will begin class with hellos and getting to know you questions to make each learner feel comfortable. We will then go through the American Sign Language alphabet and learn each letter. Each learner will have ample time to learn and practice the letters and ask questions as needed. We will then practice spelling our names. Each learner will practice spelling their names (first name and last depending on how much time we have). We will also learn how to sign "My name is..." As we learn...

I have taken many classes for American Sign Language. I had two friends who were deaf as children and was able to communicate with them easily.
1 file available upon enrollmentA print out of the alphabet will be provided prior to class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
