Students will have the opportunity to learn the A minor pentatonic scale on the guitar. This will include learning the 5 traditional box patterns and learning the scale on each string of the guitar. Students, with practice, should be able to play the A minor pentatonic scale anywhere on the guitar neck.

Learning the A minor pentatonic box shape 1 and on the 5th string. Depending on student progress, we may also discuss transposing to additional keys. Basic improvisational skills may also be discussed. 30 mins online live lesson

For this class, you should have a guitar that is in tune. You will not be required to play during the class, but if there is time, the opportunity to play for assessment will be avaialble.
