💗 I adore helping young learners develop a love for writing by making writing lessons fun and engaging. I do this by not simply teaching writing skills, but connecting those skills to your learner's unique interests. When lessons are centered around things that interest a child, they are much more engaged in their own learning! In this one-time class, I will seek to get to know your learner and understand their unique interests. I will use those connections to formulate customized lessons going forward. 

🎓 I graduated from Texas Woman's University, with a honors, with a Bachelor or Arts degree in English. I then went on to obtain several different teaching certifications: Early Childhood Through 4th Grade (EC-4), English 6-8 (Grades 6-8), and English as a Second Language (ESL). Long story short, this means I have the qualifications to professionally teach all subjects at the elementary level and English Language Arts at the middle school level.

📝  PLEASE NOTE: While I have a broad range of qualifications and professional experience, because of the high demand for my writing tutoring, I have narrowed my tutoring practice to exclusively writing tutoring as of January 2022.

🚫 CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: This is a one-on-one class, which means this time is specifically reserved for your child. As such, missed classes and last minute cancellations will not receive a refund. Outschool's Limited Refund Policy applies to this class.
