This class will teach the basics of character creation and will explore the three most important facets of Dungeons and Dragons; role play, exploration and combat.
Class experience
In this class we will do the following activities... 1. We will create characters using D&D Beyond. 2. We will talk about what makes a great character and look at examples from television, movies, and books. We will discuss bonds, ideals and flaws of our favorite heroes. 3. We will discuss the social aspects of Dungeons and Dragons and how to work as part of a group. This will include a discussion on how to have fun while helping others to have fun. 4. I have played Dungeons and Dragons since I was in high school back in the 80's. Last year I became a professional game master and I have over 100 positive reviews on StartPlaying.games. I have also been a high school science teacher for 13 years which makes me very good at explaining difficult concepts.
A handout will be provided.
