We will talk about what makes a great character and look at examples from television, movies, and books. We will discuss bonds, ideals and flaws of our favorite heroes. 3. We will discuss the social aspects of Dungeons and Dragons and how to work as part of a group. This will include a discussion on how to have fun while helping others to have fun. 4. We will take about the three pillars of play which include role-play, exploration and combat. 5. We will then apply what we have learned and play a short game to practice those concepts. This class will be highly interactive and will encourage students to ask questions. This class is very low stress and I will provide digital handouts to help navigate some of the rules.Dungeons and Dragons is an amazing, unique, and fun experience. It is a great creative outlet where students can make friends, gain confidence and experience worlds that they can only imagine. When the class is finished students will feel confident to play in any game. No previous experience with role-playing games is required.

I have played Dungeons and Dragons since I was in high school back in the 80's. Last year I became a professional game master and I have over 100 positive reviews on StartPlaying.games. I have also been a high school science teacher for 13 years which makes me very good at explaining difficult concepts.
