You will also reflect on your own personal super strengths; what are your top 5 skills and how can you use these to impact others positively? There is space for 9 children aged 11-13 to join the course or session, which is led by one of our experienced and inspirational Role Models. Our Role Models are energetic, engaging, and curious educators who are passionate about encouraging you to become the best version of yourself. All of our Role Models are hand-picked and trained by our education team (https://www.rolemodels.me/about-us/meet-our-role-models/). There are 5 sessions in this course. Session 1: Speak Your Truth: Learn how to feel comfortable expressing your true self and how good this can feel! A true sense of belonging happens when we feel accepted for being our authentic self. Session 2: Owning Your Words & Actions: Taking accountability for what you say and do is important. There are times when we need to stand by our actions and times when we may need to recognise the impact they’re having on others. Session 3: Leading in Difficult Times: Being a leader when things are going well seems easy. What about when the going gets tough? How can we lead to overcome challenges and help our team move forward during tough times? Session 4: Taking Responsibility: Shifting the blame can be all too easy. What part do you play in how your life feels or are you just a passive spectator? Session 5: What am I Capable of?: What influence do you have on your future and what are you capable of? Dare to dream big and learn to develop your self-efficacy. We can’t wait to meet you and learn some awesome new skills together :)! Our sessions follow an education framework developed by teachers, education experts and business leaders. This framework, based on the work of the Partnership for 21st century learning, defines the skills and knowledge that children need to thrive at school, at home and beyond. Our course content emphasises the importance of developing life and career skills alongside academic attainment. Our courses have been written by our Character Education Team, who are highly qualified educators, within input from experts on our Advisory Board.
Learning Goals
These sessions are not designed specifically for children who struggle with leadership, we believe everyone should be developing this important life skill. Perhaps your child has great leadership potential but lacks the opportunity to demonstrate and develop it further. The course is a great opportunity for someone who may already be a ‘natural leader’ but needs to develop their empathy and ability to understand the impact of their actions on others. Developing the skills of collaborating and communicating with others can boost general self-confidence and self-awareness. The course is also a great way for children to explore being outside of their comfort zone within a fun and supportive environment.
What are the benefits of these sessions?
- Enhanced future job prospects: World Economic Forum ‘Future of Jobs Report’ (http://www3.weforum.org/docs/WEF_Future_of_Jobs_2020.pdf) consistently cites life skills as the most critical skills for the workplace.
- Increased academic attainment: Numerous scientific papers identify the correlation between happiness and academic attainment
- Improved mental health, particularly during a global pandemic

Teacher expertise and credentials
Our Role Models (teachers) are energetic, engaging, and curious educators who are passionate about encouraging your children to become the best version of themselves. All of our Role Models are hand-picked and trained by our education team. You can read more about them here; https://www.rolemodels.me/about-us/meet-our-role-models/
In order to become a Role Model, they must have ample experience working with groups of children. They must also be adept at combining educational rigour with fun, to create active learning environments that children love. We have a number of qualified teachers and actors on our team. However, each Role Model brings something unique to the table.
