Starting from scratch, we will learn basic vocabulary and sentence structure, look at English words that come from Latin and discover Roman civilisation and mythology. The materials used are multisensory, and the approach to the language is gentle and playful. ESL learners are very welcome, and we will have a good time comparing pronunciations in different languages. The course will use plenty of audiovisual resources, and it will feel like a trip back in time! Every session will consist of some language and some mythology. Roman life will also be studied.
