Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
The goal of this morning meeting is for your learner to start their day with positive social connections with an encouraging teacher and peers, along with a character-building lesson that will have them thinking about how they can grow as individuals!
Ms. Price has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language Arts, as well as an Early Childhood-4th Grade teaching certification in the United States. She has nearly a decade of experience teaching elementary-aged learners in a brick and mortar school, in various grades from Pre-K through 4th grade. Additionally, she has invested a significant amount of time and money in trainings related to teaching children and adults the skills to be socially and emotionally well rounded individuals, including Capturing Kids Hearts, Trust-Based Relational Intervention, and more.
Learners should bring paper, markers, crayons, or colored pencils to class each week. We may not use them every single week, but it is best to be prepared as we will use them for some activities!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
