RSVP today for the Halloween Minecraft Party! This party will be hosted in a Java Minecraft server! Instructions on accessing the server from the Java edition of Minecraft will be available on the classroom page! Feel free to wear your Halloween costume to class or have a Halloween Minecraft skin on your game player! (These are both optional but fun!) Costumes will be vetted by the educator to ensure that they met Outschool standards, age-appropriate costumes only. Minecraft Halloween Party Activities: -Greetings/get logged into the server -Make Giant Pumpkin Pixel Art -Escape the haunted House parkour -Build and talk! This class is not affiliated with the official Minecraft or Mojang studios. This is a one time class!
Learning Goals
The learning goal of this class is for kids to celebrate Halloween, talk about Minecraft and their Halloween plans, and enhance their social skills. This is a one-time class that allows kids to meet others who have an interest in Minecraft!
Other Details
Parental Guidance
This is a Minecraft class. Students will be able to see other kids Minecraft gaming tags within the server. However, the server is whitelisted, no one will be able to access it except the students currently enrolled in the class during class time.
Students may need help joining the server. Detailed instructions are on the class page!
Hats and costume masks are welcome; however, masks should be removed for identification during the first four minutes of class to meet safety and privacy policies. Costumes will be vetted by the educator to ensure that they met Outschool standards, age-appropriate costumes only.
